Bumble Bee

This mutation was first produced in 2001, by breeding a Super Pastel Jungle to a Spider. We acquired our first Bumble Bee ball pythons into our collection in 2005.They were produced here at Graziani Reptiles by breeding a Spider to a Pastel Jungle.

The Bumble Bee is actually a Pastel Spider, and when bred to a Wild Type (normal) ball python the offspring ratio is 25% Wild Type, 25% Pastel Jungle, 25% Spider and 25% Bumble Bees. That makes this mutation extremely powerful in any breeder’s collection.

In June of 2005, we hatched 2 clutches of ball pythons from Spider to Pastel Jungle breedings. The first clutch was 7 eggs and we hatched 3 male Bumble Bees, the second clutch was 12 eggs and we hatched 2 males and 1 female Bumble Bee. This is one of the most beautiful ball python mutations that we have hatched here at Graziani Reptiles. When they hatch they appear almost like candy. They look so good, you just want to eat one!
