G1 Pastel Hypo

This is our sixth signature mutation produced here at Graziani Reptiles.

In 2004 we proved our G1 Hypo to be a simple recessive trait that was not compatible with any of the other Hypo mutations. In 2003, we produced some Pastel Jungles that were Het for the G1 Hypo gene. In 2005, we bred one of those Pastel males back to his mother and produced a pair of G1 Pastel Hypos. These are some of the prettiest Pastel crosses we have produced. They are reduced patterned ball pythons with bright yellow color on the dorsal area, and a peachy/orange side color. The heads are purple like a Super Pastel Jungle minus the washed out portion near the neck. These are much brighter than any of the other Pastel Hypos that we have seen.
